ROOT TO RISE
Root2Rise is a sweet, sometimes sweaty, and soulful vinyasa. Students are invited to give themselves grace and accept where they are in the moment. Her practice assists students in gaining the tools necessary to remove barriers to experiencing full love and joy.
MON 8:30-9:30 AM
This class consists of a series of long held floor poses (2-5 minutes) that slowly move into surrendering to the sensations of the stretch. In Yin we practice unhurried movement, learn to find peace in discomfort, and observe our thoughts and sensations in stiffness.
MON 5:30-6:30 PM
Heat-building approach to Vinyasa style flow, linking conscious breath with a vigorous flow. Classes elevate your heart rate and build strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind.
WED 5:30-6:15 PM
Invigorating yoga plus mobility hybrid class. Mixes the disciplines of yoga asana and functional movement in a dynamic flow to help maintain joint health and improve range of motion.
MON 4:30-5:15 PM
ULTRA GENTLE YOGA
This gentle class involves deep breathing, stretching, and strengthening using a chair. Sometimes we sit in it and sometimes we stand next to it as we enjoy a whole body workout.
WED 10:00-11:00 AM
This class begins and ends in prayer, with a flowing series of mindful movements in between. Focus is placed on proper alignment and using the breath to increase the benefits of practice.
FRI 8:30-9:45 AM
Fun class for 3-5 year olds that teaches poses and social mindfulness through engaging yoga stories. Adults must accompany children.
MON 3:30-4:00 PM
In this class we will focus on whole core strength through dynamic movement and find a balance and strength, stability and flexibility. Weights are optional.
TUE 8:30-9:30 AM | THU 8:30-9:30 AM
Kids in this age group will learn more yoga techniques as we go on different journeys in our fun yoga environment.
WED 5:30-6:15 PM
This fun class provides movement to music for a gentle cardio and strength training workout.
THU 10:00-10:45 AM
Combines the yogic focus on mind body awareness and the core strengthening and posture support of Pilates. This energizing and upbeat class will take you through a vinyasa inspired yoga flow designed to increase strength, flexibility, and balance then down to the mat for deep core work focusing on stability, and improved posture. The class closes out with a calming savasana including breathwork and guided meditation.
WED 8:30-9:30 AM
Energizing and fluid slow flow designed to gently strengthen and ease tension through mindful movement. Class begins with a centering breath practice and moves into a dynamic slow paced vinyasa and ends with longer held stretches.
SAT 8:30-9:45 AM
YOGA FOR RECOVERY
with Belinda and Courtney
Open to anyone and everyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or affected by the addictive behavior of others. This is a open and inclusive group and all recovery programs are welcome. Informed by the latest research in neuroscience and trauma healing, Yoga for recovery combines the somatic approach of yoga with the cognitive approach of the 12-Step recovery model. Yoga for Recovery is not a replacement for 12-Step meetings, a sponsor, or any other part of a recovery program, it is an adjunct providing another helpful tool to more fully address the physical, mental and spiritual dis-ease of addiction.
