A SAFE PLACE FOR THOSE IN NEED
The Living Room is a free, inviting space offered to residents in our local communities. We want to provide an alternative to Emergency Departments, by providing a safe, non-clinical space to adults, 18 years old and over, that are experiencing a mental health crisis or substance abuse.
Temporary Hours: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 Days a Week
Accessible By Phone 24/7/365 at 815-443-5160

- Families face real challenges accessing care, and kids often fall within the gap.
- This center will offer a safe, trusted space where kids and parents feel seen and work together to solve behavioral health and other life challenges.
- Ottawa Living Room improvements will meet unique needs of families as well as strengthen safe and effective walk-in care.
- Over time, increasing psychiatric, substance use, crisis and counseling capacities will resolve community needs while providing the best care possible.
