Dakota Laesch

Recovery Support Specialist

Dakota Laesch joined the Arukah Team to work as a Recovery Support Specialist. He currently holds an Associate Degree in both Arts and Science from IVCC. Some of his prior work experience includes warehouse roles, both on an associate level and leadership level, as well as construction. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends. He has nearly 15 years of lived experience with a focus on depression and anxiety and actively participates in therapy. He also grew up in a household surrounded by substance use. Dakota’s greatest passion is helping and connecting with others in hopes to enrich and better others lives along their journey. He has a great interest in learning about the mental health field and changing the stigma surrounding it. Dakota’s long-term goals are to gather knowledge and experience in order to grow within the field and continue to help others. He believes that everyone has a story to tell and deserves to be heard.
