Brittany Vedder, MS, CADC
Supervisor of Case Management Services
Brittany first earned her Masters in Rehabilitation Fitness and Health Promotion before discovering a passion for the mental health and substance use field. This realization came while working in the criminal justice system as a Criminal Records Specialist, then Sheriff’s Deputy
assigned to the jail division. She then returned to school to earn a Bachelors in Psychology at Oregon State University. During her time working within the criminal justice system, it became
clear how much mental health and substance use impacts those that are in the jail and prison systems. Brittany went on to work with adults in custody as a Substance Abuse Counselor in the hopes to reduce recidivism and help them to gain a different perspective and develop coping skills. Brittany is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and works as the Supervisor of Case Management Services and as a Crisis MHP. A few things she enjoys while away from Arukah are reading, traveling, trying/learning new things, and anything that has to do with being in, on, or around water.
