Ruth Hale
Grant manager
Ruth earned her B.A. in Music Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining Arukah, she taught K-5 general music and junior high choir in the K-8 school system, as well as coached 5th & 6th grade girls’ basketball. She started her career at Arukah in September of 2024 as Project Manager and Training Coordinator, but has since moved into the role of Grant Manager. She is very passionate about mental health and substance use disorder awareness and breaking down the stigmas that still surround them, especially within rural communities. Originally from Central Illinois, Ruth moved to Princeton in 2011. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing the piano, video games, and crocheting.
