Jade Atkinson
Mind-Body Movement Guide
Jade is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, certified Reiki practitioner, and sound healing facilitator trained through the Sound Healing Academy. She holds an associate’s degree from the University of Colorado, where her science-focused coursework fostered a strong foundation in human anatomy and physiology–knowledge that now enriches her understanding of how the body moves and breathes. Integrating these complementary practices, Jade guide students with thoughtful attention, intuitive awareness, and genuine care.
She began her personal yoga journey in 2013. Her teaching style is shaped by years of devoted self-practice, particularly within the steady, disciplined rhythm of Ashtanga yoga where breath and movement are woven through structured sequences to create a moving meditation. She also enjoys curating creative, dynamic vinyasa flows. Jade is passionate about guiding sound bath experiences where she draws on the peaceful, relaxing qualities of restorative yoga to invite mindfulness, deep rest, and nervous system regulation.
Jade is a dedicated practitioner whose work is rooted in holistic healing and personal transformation. For Jade, these practices became deeply personal. During a profound season of grief, yoga, sound healing, and energy work became steady companions on her path back to wholeness. What began as a search for grounding and renewal slowly grew into a calling to share those same supportive spaces with others.
Jade offers a compassionate and grounded presence approaching her work with empathy informed by her lived experience and ongoing study of mind-body-spirit practices. She is committed to creating welcoming, safe spaces where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to explore their own journeys. Her approach blends embodied awareness, curiosity, and a belief in the body’s innate capacity to restore balance and harmony through movement, mindfulness, and meditation.
