I have been working in outpatient mental health for 13 years. I have had several different jobs while in the field, but the last 5 years I have worked with the substance treatment population and as a mental health therapist. When I was obtaining my MSW, I specialized in forensic social work. I have worked closely with individuals involved in the criminal justice system throughout my career. I have worked in the group setting and individually with clients. I have a CADC and LCSW. I am certified in MRT, DUI services, and SMART recovery just to name a few. I use problem solving techniques, motivational interviewing, CBT techniques and many other techniques to support my clients in reaching their goals. I am person centered and want my clients to get what they need from services not what I or others think they need.
